Training Strategies and Programs
By exclusively using local contractors and suppliers, Scope Building ensures that funds generated stay in the local community, supporting small businesses and allowing them to develop new and existing apprentices.
Scope currently employs over 10 apprentice carpenters of its own and is looking to increase its training capacity. By providing these apprentices with the best training possible we are ensuring our region will have competent tradesmen in the future that will help to stimulate the local economy’s by potentially purchasing homes, raising families and building long term futures in the Territory. The economy will be further stimulated through the purchase of building materials and employment of local sub-contract tradespeople; they intern spending their income locally keeping the money in the Territory and not interstate.
Scope Building implements a rigorous Quality Control Plan that ensures project targets are met on time and to the highest standard. The Scope system is based on AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 and is designed to ensure that customer requirements are understood by all employees involved and are met on every occasion.
Strict adherence to this Policy Statement is required of all employees; all personnel who work on company-controlled projects, including our employees, contractors and sub-contractors are bound by the requirements of this system. Our excellent working relationship with local Subcontractors and Suppliers, tried and tested over time has enabled Scope to build working relationships and an understanding of our high-quality expectations that our reputation is built on.
