Scope Building NT Pty Ltd was appointed to undertake construction of a new general learning area building consisting of two classrooms at Girraween Primary School. The works included, removal of an existing garden bed and trees, construction of a blockwork building with colourbond roof sheeting, flashings, new footpaths and a covered walkway. The works included termite protection, internal linings, acoustic ceiling tiles, aluminium framed windows and doors, vapour barrier, tiling of splashbacks, vinyl flooring, painting, communications, fire services, plumbing works, electrical works and mechanical works, including ductwork and a new plant area, landscaping and irrigation, hardstands for two transportable buildings and connection of services as specified.
This project was completed to a high standard and to budget, there was a variation to works that extended our completion date, there were no work safe issues.
