Scope Building were awarded the contract for the Waterslide Flume Replacement at the Leanyer Water Park in Darwin.
This project scope consisted of the complete removal and disposal of the three existing waterslide flume sections (both enclosed and open flumes), including fibreglass refurbishment of starters and runouts.
The three slides consisted of 1 x Enclosed Tube 1322mm Raft Ride, 1 x Enclosed Tube 1200mm Body Ride, and 1 x Enclosed Tube 800mm Body Ride, including bottom end open flumes, and new 304 Stainless Steel Slide fixings and Gaskets for joining of the new slide sections. “Like for like” flumes were supplied. Works also included the disconnection and re-connection of services.
As the contractor, we were responsible for the arrangement of freight of the new Slides, all certification, section 40’s, relevant permits and Engineering of the slides.
Works were completed to an exceptional standard, within budget and with no work safe issues identified.
