CLIENT: NTG Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics

STATUS: Completed 2020 

DESCRIPTION:  

Scope Building were awarded the works for the Papunya Room to Breathe Program. The project consisted of Modifications to 13x Lots at Papunya Community. These lots included lot 231, 245, 271, 272, 275, 283, 285, 287, 288, 404, 405A and 458 in the community. 

The project also included repairs and maintenance works to the lots throughout the transitioning periods.  

Overall, works included electrical upgrades, plumbing upgrades, new concrete paths and mowing strips, hardstands for clotheslines, new enclosed verandas on the exterior of the lots, installation of stainless-steel kitchens, full internal and external repaint. Some of the lots had extensions to the houses adding additional bedrooms and bathrooms.  

Throughout the project we employed 4 Local Indigenous workers through the Ngurratjuta Community Development program. 

Works were completed to a high standard and within the budget of the project, with the exception of variations requested by the client.
