DESCRIPTION:

Scope Building NT was the successful contractor awarded to deliver the Stage 1 works for their new Central Play Space, a transformational upgrade designed to enhance outdoor learning and play opportunities for students across the campus.

This project involved the construction of a high-quality, multi-functional landscaped play environment, delivered in accordance with the detailed architectural and landscape specifications. Key components of the works included:

• New landscaped play zones featuring natural materials, custom play elements, and interactive spaces.
• Installation of soft-fall surfacing and compliant play components to meet Australian Standards.
• Upgraded paving, concrete works, drainage and earthworks to support long-term durability and safety.
• Integration of new turf, planting, irrigation, and supporting landscape structures.
• Coordination of works within an operational school environment, ensuring student safety, minimal disruption, and continuous school functionality throughout the build.

Delivered on time, on budget, and with a strong focus on detail, safety, and stakeholder communication, the Central Play Space has become a vibrant and engaging focal point for the school community.
