Scope Building was awarded the construction of a three-level accessible lift and associated works at the Silas Roberts Hostel. The works included construction of a three-level lift shaft, painting works, construction of a shade structure, supply and installation of new handrails, concrete stair treads and guttering, a new doorway and solid core door, new vanity, removal of kitchen and installation of new kitchen bench with a new hot water system under bench and new heat lamps. The works also included relocating and installation of a new storm water system.
The project was finished within the specified extended timeline, to budget and to a high standard. There were no work safe issues.
