Description:

Scope Building delivered this project within a very tight time frame, Stage 1 in 6 weeks, and Stage 2 in 10 weeks.

Stage 1 involved a complete renovation of the facility, upgrading all existing cells and common areas.  New wet areas were created, new cell doors and new furniture was installed.  Scope completed new concrete beds, privacy screens, windows, and upgrades of hot water units and air conditioning.  Outside works included new perimeter fencing and PA Gates.

Stage 2  included a new security-fenced demountable Female Facility, with installation of new in-ground services, cells, control rooms, enclosed common areas, storage containers, ablutions and disabled toilets, and new concrete access paths. Scope also undertook placement and refurbishment of the relocated Education Offices.

This project was completed to an extremely high standard.
