DESCRIPTION:
Scope Building NT Pty Ltd was awarded the contract to undertake the refurbishment of Purple 16 at the Casuarina Campus.
The works included design and construction of a mezzanine floor, internal offices and an electrical and drone manufacture workshop, design and installation of the required electrical, data and communications requirements including monitoring equipment, design, supply and install all the necessary vapour barriers in airconditioned spaces, supply and installation of new external double doors, internal solid core flush doors and locks, including security access, painting of wall and ceiling linings, supply and installation of coved vinyl floor coverings in the offices and electrical workshop and carpet tiles on the mezzanine floor.
Variations included an additional spoon drain, demolition of existing gutters and replacement, supply and installation of additional wheel stops to the edge of the road, installation of 2 WAPS, installation of a mowing strip – north and south of the building, the installation of vermin proof flashing and the supply and installation of a compressor, enclosure, power supply and airline.
The project was completed to a high standard within the varied contract time frames, there was no work safe issues.
